Job description

Based in our Ower office and supporting our existing team to grow our business, the key responsibilities will include: 

• Marketing.
• Development of strategies to grow our rental business and raise our rental market profile.
• Recognising potential ‘hiring’ opportunities within Rapid’s existing customer base.
• Develop Hire Wizard.
• Maintaining our reputation as a highly respected company with a proven history of superb customer care.
• Breakdown repair co-ordination.
• Develop web and social media presence.
• Enhance our Health and Safety policies.
• As part of a small team there is a general level of additional support required for your colleagues.

Hours 

• Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, 60 minutes lunch, 40 hours per week
• 20 days holiday per year + statutory holidays.  Compulsory Christmas & New Year shutdown.

What we're looking for 

• Strong customer focus.
• The role will be fast-paced and challenging, therefore you must have an adaptable, flexible attitude and   approach.
• Be prepared to work alongside your team to be driven to achieve a high level of service.
• General office experience required.
• ‘C’ grade GCSE in Mathematics and English Language.
• IT literate including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Calm under pressure.
• Excellent communicator across all colleague levels. 

This role would suit someone in the existing tool or plant hire / rental business.
