Location: Home based, in Dorset, Hampshire, West Sussex, Isle of Wight.

Job Type: Web Content & Presentation Coordinator. 

Working Hours: 39 Hours per Week (will consider Job Share, please specify on application) Monday to Thursday 0800 to 1700 Friday 0800 to 1600 60 minutes lunch.

Salary: Initially £23000.00.

Holiday: 20 paid days per year (pro-rata for job share) + bank holidays (Some leave mandatory for business closure between Christmas & New Year).

Additional: Company clothing, IT hardware as necessary.

JOB OVERVIEW

A Web Content & Presentation Coordinator is required for our busy, expanding, welding product supply company. This role will be home based although you may be required to occasionally travel to one of our sites in Portsmouth, Southampton or an Isle of Wight location. The focus will be on working on our website by:

• Accurately loading products on the company’s platforms (including text, pricing, key features and images). 

• Maintaining and improving design.

• Ensuring continuity of presentation and ease of usability.

• As part of a small team there is a general level of additional support required for your colleagues.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS for Web Content & Presentation Coordinator

• IT Literate (ESSENTIAL)

• Ability to ensure attention to detail and high quality work on a consistent basis (ESSENTIAL)

• Excellent copywriting with a high-level competency in English grammar and punctuation (ESSENTIAL)

• Strong proof-reading skills • An aptitude to learn new software and system

• Have a flair for identifying trends • Ability to follow instructions

• Ability to work in a team and to work independently when required

• Ability to use common sense • Good communication skills

• Good mathematic skills

• Any other tasks my be required to be performed as necessary

Warehouse / Logistics Person 

Location:  Portchester

Contract:  Full time with three month probationary period 

Job type:  Warehouse/Logistics/ distribution

Salary:  c £18500.00, subject to experience 

Job description 

• Warehouse / Logistics team member required for our busy stores and dispatch area.
• Based in our Portchester head office, the focus will be on the swift and accurate dispatch of our goods worldwide.
• This will encompass ensuring our stock is accurate, and in the correct location so our customer orders can be filled accurately and quickly.
• The role will require accurate stock receiving, picking and dispatching in accordance with pre-set instructions and standards.
• This role includes working closely with other stores personnel and drivers, calling for a positive and encouraging manner to be part of the  team complying with  all regulatory requirements, e.g. Health & Safety, security and product safety.
• The role includes serving members of the public, trade customers and working with our suppliers.  
• Clothing and safety boots supplied. 

Hours :

• Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm, 30 minutes paid lunch 

What we're looking for :

• IT Literate is essential
• Calm under pressure – this role will include time critical deadlines to work to.
• Excellent communicator across all colleague levels.
• Driving licence essential.
• Ideally have an industrial warehousing background, though not essential.
• The role will be fast-paced and challenging, therefore you must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and approach, be prepared to work alongside your team and be driven to achieve a high level of service and cleanliness.

• IT Literate, knowledge of computerised systems
• Calm under pressure – this role will include working to time critical deadlines.
• An excellent communicator across all colleague levels.
• Forklift licence and Driving licence desirable
• Ideally have an engineering/welding background.
• The role will be fast-paced and challenging therefore you must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and approach, be prepared to work alongside your team and be driven to achieve a high level of service and cleanliness.

Trainee Sales Representative

Job Description

This position will include:  

•      Visiting established customers in Hampshire/Dorset/West Sussex area,

with view to maintaining & strengthening current relationships.

•      Recognising opportunities to increase sales within our existing customer

base and, in the long term locating and acquiring new accounts.

What we are looking for 

•      This vacancy would suit someone who is confident in situations

•      Preferably from an engineering or welding background

•      Some customer/sales experience also helpful.

•      Full driving Licence essential

•      IT literate including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
